We offer our after school programs at schools throughout Southeastern Wisconsin including Brookfield Academy, the West Allis School District, Waukesha South High School, Nicolet High School and Grand Avenue School. We are continuing to expand. Programs are run at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and are a great way for students to gain valuable language skills in a fun, comfortable environment.

    Mercan provides experienced teachers and a proven and innovative curriculum. Students have fun while learning valuable language skills. Curriculums always include cultural as well as linguistic instruction. Culture lessons often correspond with Chinese holidays, culminating in classroom festivities. Some courses may include Mercan hosting a traditional dumpling making class where students learn vocabulary and sentence structures relevant to making and eating food and enjoy learning how to make a traditional Chinese dish. The structure of courses is invariably informative, intriguing and fun!
